Recently, an interesting issue focused on the effect of advertisements - i.e. whether the great hits of a product is rooted in the well-designed advertisement activities.

One argument associated with this issue favors the positive effect of advertising in boosting the sales of products. To some extent, advertisements serving as mass media might, on one side, help consumers better acquire the fancy characteristics of target products, or discount message. On the other hand, it really does advertiser a favor in increasing the chance of exposing publishers's profound concept, mostly about their company culture to their latent consumers. Generally, most of advertisements you touched are not published directly by the advertisers. Instead, ads agency undertakes the job and offers professional services to advertisers, aiming to help them design well-rounded advertising plan, make fancinating videos or words to beauty client's products. Actually, they even reckon the distribution of target consumers, then adapt particular plan to maximum advertisers' profit with limited budget. As a result of it, more and more people are reached through the distribution capacity of mass media, especially the Internet. Generally, many of them might have the very requirement for the companion items related with the exposed ads, or they might inpulsively purchase the products because of the attractive cheap price or discount message.

However, another argument turns opposite to the beforementioned point - i.e. it hightlights the consumers' function in generating the sale volumn of a product. From their view point, the decision right is firmly owned by consumers themselves. Typically, among the approaches to cop with various ads, one of them is particularly evident - i.e. people have deep trust in recommendations from their friends. It is quiet often seen in our daily life. Also, it is a practical way to facilitate the social interaction with friends. Furthermore, consumers could still make a wise decision based on their own requirements, though having paid much attention to the advertising message. It is noted that the constraince of disposable incoming could also influence the number of possible affordable products. In particular, this stituation can frequently happend to students like us without any revenue.

Last but not the least, advertising can do both consumers and advertisers a favor. However, overwhelming established advertisements, due to the heavy competitive pressure, have produced. Most of them are frequently exposed to us every second, which seriously influences the quality of our life. In my opinion, advertiser should pay more attention to improving the quality of their advertising content, construction, of course, the publishing time and oriented object. Or consumers could possibly turn to their competitive company's product, or even worse case, they just chooses to omit them.
