When teachers assign projects on which students must work together, the students learn must more effectively when they are asked to work alone.

Cooperation plays a pivotal role in one's studying in university. However, we have already been accustomed to prevailing over various barriers by ourselves in the education befor. So learning how to fit in a team to complete a project is exceedingly important in one's university study life. It's not only necessary but also helps us learn more effecticely.

First, a study project, in most cases, involves a large workload which stays out of one's ability as far as time arrangement is concerned.  The professor is usually acquainted with the students' workload. So when he/she arranges for the proect to be a group work, working individually will only put drain on one's energy and spare time. As a result, the student will gradually lose vitality and motivation after a period of time. Then, he can't dedicate himself fully to the project which means lower working efficiency. Moreover, it can also mess up his other parts of school life.

Next, a project viriably necessitates huge amounts of cross-curriculum knowldge which poses a great challenge to individuals. As a Chinese old saying goes, the teacher doesn't need to be more sagacious than his students for everyone has his own domain of study. It fully illustrates my points. First, everyone is acquainted with only certain fields. When assigned an intricate project, he usually needs external help from experts in other domains. Next, this project can work as a platform for you to expand your view from others and nourish your groeth. On the contrary, when you work on the project alone you've actually deprived yourself the opportunity of broadening your horizons, thus learning less effectively.

Admittedly, working alone is also instrumental in one's growth. Group work sometimes brings meaningless social action, which is just a waste of time. Where there's a group of people, there're social activities, such as dining together, hanging out and joining in parties. It's easy for you to indulge yourself and leads you astray from the original purpose of working on projects. Thus, working alone can eliminate these distractions from social intercouse and make you concentrate better on your project.Neverthelss, the benefits of group working far outweigh the potential problems it brings for most university students are self-disciplined enough to make his own choice from these activities.

To sum up, although we cann't neglect the hidden trouble group wrking brings, we are benefitted more by working jointly on projects. Cooperation helps us learn both more effectivly and efficiently. Coperation brings a new horizon to our life. Cooperation makes us clear of our limitations and break our zone.
