For example, it is very common that many students bring their cellphones to classrooms and play video games or send messages during classes, rather than pay attention to their teachers. Even though teachers feel unhappy about that, they have to get used to it.
In addition, with competition heating up nowadays, people place much more weight on students’ scores, which also leads to the decrease of teachers’ values at the sight of people. In the past, teachers are supposed to make their students knowledgeable and give them inspirations to achieve their dreams. However, the main job of teachers is only to increase their students’ academic performance or to help them to pass some specific exams to get some certain certifications. With more and more utilitarian deliberation, working as a teacher is no longer considered as a sacred occupation.
In conclusion, at present, students have a lot of ways to learn, they commonly do not respect their teacher and people usually care much about their scores, result in teachers’ social status decline. Never is our society the one in the past, never are teachers highly appreciated and valued by people.
