With the technology accelerating at a rapid speed, people are apt to connect to the world around them by media tools. When watching TV programs and movies, people would question whether they are more interesting than the counterpart made in others（稍做调整，用 their counterparts made 即可）. Considering the different evolution pace of media, movies and TV programs in China are not compelling as those in other countries.
To begin with, the lagged technological development greatly confines the advance of movies and TV programs in China. As we all know, the Industrial Revolution originates in the（the去掉) Europe and contributes a lot to many fields including media. It seems that the television which is the crucial production of Industrial Revolution entered the european （the 去掉，european,E要大写）society during 1900s. On the other hand, according to a 2008 study, the popularization of television occurred almost in 1980s in China, further causing the delayed development of local movies and TV programs. For instance, 86 percent of teenagers like to watch foreign science fiction movies because of its advanced 3D and CG techniques. Thus, despite the vivid plots of chinese （修改为Chinese）science fictions, the poor media technologies reveal it is hard to make the movie interesting to audiences.
In addition, the TV programs in other countries seem to be more educationally meaningful to children. Even though the television set has been common in every family and people like to watch TV at their leisure, the TV programs do not get better designed and make them less appealing to the public, especially the children in Chin（拼写不完整，China）. In fact, current television programs are full of TV plays which are entertaining to adults but make no sense for children's education. Nevertheless, the "Sesame Street", an American educational television series, is devised for preschoolers, combining both education and entertainment. In my childhood, I used to watch this TV program since it focus on the discussion of morality and values. Sill, its interesting introduction to the knowledge in different subjects always catch children's eyes（语法有误，修改为强调句，如it is the interesting introduction to the knowledge in different subjects that always catches children's eyes）, making their study more interesting.
Lastly, the excellent foreign literature and movie industry in other countries bring their movies to a top level. Indeed, a whole lot of directors get inspiration from novels and then apply their plots to the movie. Compared with the（the去掉）chinese (chinese首字母需要大写）literature, the（the去掉）foreign literature work has gained the outrageous accomplishment in terms of the Nobel prize, which provides rich sources for the directors in their countries. Besides, a lot of foreign actors and directors benefit from the Hollywood, which also gives them the momentum of progress since the considerable awards it could offer. It comes no surprise that people dwell much time on watching the movies from Hollywood. Obviously, the interesting plots and informative conversation make the movie interesting and instruct people a lot.
In conclusion, due to the early lagged development of media technologies, chinese （chinese首字母大写）movies and TV programs are seemingly not as interesting as those in other countries. Thus it is necessary to catch up with them and make it more appealing.
