The lecture talks about “hindsight bias”, which describes a psychological phenomenon that people tend to claim that they have anticipated the result beforehand, even if they did not in fact. The professor then talked about an example of his friend. She was about to publish a novel. Before the book got published, she was really concerned. She was afraid that no publisher would like to support her. But she tried hard and eventually got her book published. When she discussed it with the professor, she claimed that she had already known that her book would finally get published because her novel was terrific. (103 words)
