The speaker has met a problem that she plans to make the vase she has made in the ceramics class gift for her mother’s birthday. However, she has to send the vase, which is easily to be broken. There are two solutions for her. Firstly, she can ask for special delivery service, which is, though with better package, quite expensive. Secondly, she can drive back and send the vase by herself. It takes her several hours, and it’s during the mid-term exam when she has to focus on preparations.
