对比论证：
对比是在举例过程中比较多用到的方法，每当学生需要突出表达某一个观点而又无法立即想到一个具体例证的时候就可以采用对比或比较的方法。
解释论证：
与举例说明的简单易懂相比，详细解释更适合于英语表达较好的学生;这种方法的主要手段是通过更详细的解释来进一步阐述一个主旨句。

举例论证的标志词、词组或者句型有：
1. 出现有for example, for instance，such as, as a proof， as an illustration， as an example，in particular， just as， namely， specifically， to illustrate， to demonstrate…等标志词。
2. 出现有以下句型： A good case in point is that …; A typical example can be found in …;Take … for example，Take… as an example…， which may include …等
3. 出现有真实的人名、时间、地点等。

1. 10 years ago，in my childhood memory，the city which I live in now is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen.
2. I will take my classmate Grace as an example.
3. I have travelled to many places in China, such as Beijing, Hunan, Shanghai...and so on.

I’d like to talk about my friend Tim, whom I met in English corner. First of all, He is a talent in language learning, particularly in English. ❶ He has started his English learning since kindergarten and can now fluently communicate with foreigners. ❷ Whenever I’m with him, he will give me some useful tips of English learning and that’s a big reason I enjoy being with him. Plus, he’s also a young expert on distinctive cultures. ❸ He has traveled tens of countries, and shares me his acquisitions and encounters during every trip. That feels like I am also on a trip. Well, if you ask me whether it is a good idea to open a café inside the campus library, I would like to say definitely yes. I have two reasons to name.
First, it’s a good place for us to take a break and get refreshment. We go to the library to do research or study for finals, which are quite intense and complex work. ❶ Sometimes my head gets a little dizzy from staring at the books for too long. In that case I would like to get a cup of coffee and clear my mind for a while.
What’s more, it’ll also be more convenient for us to grab something to eat.
❷ I mean, sometimes when we are in a hurry, we go to the library without having breakfast, especially during the final week. ❸ So it’ll be fantastic if we can order a muffin and a cup of Capo-chino inside the library.
