Nowadays, food has become easier to prepare. Has this change improved the way people live? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

使人们的生活方式发生了一些变化：

(1)食品容易准备，节省了大量的时间，使人们可以做其他事情;

Food has always been the one of the greatest wants of humankind. It has influenced almost every step that humankind has taken. The search for food is the essence(本质，实质)of life. Therefore if food is easier to get and prepare it is a real boon(有喝倒彩的意思，理解起来就是贬义)to humankind.(本段开门见山，没有多余笔墨，依旧是叙述一个常态，给出一个观点)

Food is the most important of the three basic amenities(令人愉快的事物，注意one of后面一定是复数)of life (water, food and shelter(庇护)). Though it can be argued that water is the sustenance(食物)for any life form, food is more important because if you do not have water you will surely die. But if you are left with a scarcity(缺乏)of food it will lead to a very sickly and torturous life(虚弱和痛苦的生活). Nutritious food is very essential for life, food has been the cause of many a battle. Thus if food was easier to prepare it will take away from the mind of the humankind a great burden.(many a译为许多;take away from译为减损;本段意在讲食物是三种基础需求里最重要的，然后通过假设没有水和没有食物来进行对比，从而推断出食物容易得到的话会减轻许多负担。)

Though the preparation of food becoming easier, which is considered a great blessing for humankind. The sudden rise in processed and canned food and all the junk food that one gets over the counter(直接交易)is not totally a boon. People who are so busy that they are not able to spend time to prepare their food, develop a liking for these ready-to-eat junk food. Though it might be thought of as a great way to save time, this is as shortsighted idea that could actually lead to a world of harm. Because one must understand that even though junk food saves us a lot of time, the nutritional value of the food is not so good. In reality the preservatives used in these foods are often found to be toxic in nature. Hence it defeats the purpose it is supposed to serve i.e., to provide nutritional value.(本段叙述了食物变得越来越便利，垃圾食品虽然生产迅速食用方便，却带给我们身体更糟糕的影响)

Moreover since people do not take time to prepare food, the art of cooking is slowly vanishing.(这句话很文艺，烹饪艺术在慢慢消失)Actually cooking is a good way of releasing pressure that builds up from our professional commitments. Cooking can easily provide relief from all the tensions that prevail in our life. In the past family weekend get together was considered to be a good time to know each other and they used to spend time cooking food for the entire family. They used to exchange recipes and it was away of rewinding(倒回)after the hard weeklong labor. Thus this junk food has denied the human kind of one of humankind’s oldest arts. It could even be termed as(被叫做)a retrograde(倒退的)step inhuman culture.(通过讲烹饪的好处，客观地说明现在食物便捷导致烹饪文化的逐渐落后，说明了食物便利的另一个缺点)

Therefore I believe though the processed food(加工过的食品)has made the preparation of food much easier, it is not a good step for mankind.(结尾很随意，我认为可以总结一下前两段。本文依旧是经典分段A+A-A-类型。)
