答案：
The professor talks about two kinds of sensory ability that plants own. The first point she raises is that they could sense the odor. For example, Vines are sensitive to smells, and they are capable to could smell odors in order to detect water and nutrients, so this will help them survive. The second point she mentions is that they could sense the sound. For example, some plants could sense the sound from animals so as to protect themselves. When they notice animals approaching, they can emit some chemical to prevent the animals from eating them. Based on the two examples, professor well explains plants’ sensory ability to us.
