Firstly, he can negotiate with his co-worker and reschedule his shift. But it’s embarrassing, because the boss has been nice enough to leave out his time for class. Secondly, he can go to the recruitment fair before work. There are some supervisors who would appear before the fair, and he can have a good talk with them. But there’s probably that some good companies arrive after he leaves. Compared with these two solutions, I prefer the first one, because to him, a good job marks a good beginning for his career.
