新托福口语task2题目:

What would you like to do with your extra money? Spend it on objects (like books, clothes) or on experiences (having holidays or going to concerts).

新托福口语task2解析:

这是去年9月10日考试的原题，和写作一样，口语二选一的题目一般情况下是一边倒的，因为优点或者缺点比较明显。但是也有一些题目选择确实会比较困难，15s秒钟想不出一方比另一方好而且特别有说服性的理由，两个选择似乎都挺重要，难以抉择，这样的情况下，果断选择折中的答法，说两个都重要,或者是视情况而定，更利于考场上的发挥。

思路：都重要，都想花钱

实物是日常生活必不可少的，比如电子产品，美食和好看的衣服。

体验丰富我的人生和思想，比如看电影、演出、旅行，同样重要。

比如之前考过的题目：

这两个题实际上就一模一样，人类不仅需要科技进步，也需要人文关怀，所以45秒可以分成两部分分别说科学和艺术的好处。

当然是视情况而定更好说，没必要所有的工作都要让人西装革履，当然正式的场合穿着牛仔裤和T恤也是不太合适的。这样一来这个题就变得很简单。

再比如去年的今天，4月23日的task2，历史总是如此相似

When going on vacation, do you prefer to spend a lot of money to buy whatever you want or spend less money to be economical?

当然这道题一边倒，选择在旅行时出手阔绰或者穷游也是可以的，只要你的理由听起来是合理的。比如有的同学说我有钱任性，旅行是我装逼炫富的好机会，当然可以;有的可以说我是个穷学生穷屌丝，钱不多不能太任性，当然也行。只不过这样的答案太过于主观，不管答什么都说没钱会听起来会让人很烦。

如果采用折中的思路，就可以说It depends on what I will spend themoney on。对于酒店、美食之类的多花钱无所谓，体验风土人情对于旅行更总要，但是对于化妆品、服装什么的，没有必要花太多钱，因为在国内也能买到。

再比如去年10月28日的task2

Some people think it is more important to spend time with family rather than studying or working. What is your opinion?

托福口语考试出现这样的题目本身就是丧心病狂，一个涉及到个人价值观、社会学和心理学的庞大命题，45s是说不出个什么所以然的。所以我一直在强调，托福口语考试并不是要考察你的思想有多么深刻，只是考察你临场应变的口头表达能力而已，所以观点本身并没有那么重要，合理即可。对于这道题，能够想出的最好说的一个观点就是，两个都重要，这样就不用在两个选项的优缺点上纠结，这道题其实就变成了，工作和家庭能给你带来什么，要说满45秒简直是太容易了。

回到这个题本身，其实选择一边倒也未尝不可，可以说电子产品和实物更新换代快(have short-life spans, or become obsolete quickly)，体验更持久(比如旅行，比如学习)，只是和上述的题目类似，这里提供了另一种考试和平时练习的思路，大家可以酌情使用。考生大不必担心这样的答法会让考官觉得态度不明确，毕竟对于口语来说，流畅性和表达才是决定分数最基本的。

Sample Answer: My preference goes to investing my money in enriching my experiences, because as what people usually say, the things that you have been through and the memory of them are what you should cherish the most. Like last time, I spent my spare money that I had been setting aside for over three months on the ticket to Jay Chou’s concert and went to the concert with my old friends. Joyful tears wetted our faces as we heard some pieces that we had been listening to since we were just teenagers. Any objects can’t compete with such a wonderful and memorable night.

Personally, I would choose to spend money on vacation instead of outfits. First off, I am the kind of person who likes new and exciting things and exploration. When travelling, I got a chance to talk to locals and get to know their culture, customs and way of living. By interacting with them I can broaden my horizons and have new perspectives on things. Eventually, traveling around makes me a well-rounded person. Additionally, it is not worth the money to buy new outfits since nobody judges you by the clothes you wear and frankly, even the most fashionable outfits will be out of date in just a few months.
