我觉得core 作为定语修饰group可以亚，而且core也确实可以做定语亚?Petrography (concerns) primarily with the detailed (description) and classification of rocks, (whereas) petrology deals primarily with rock (formation).
这题的a怎么错了?改成什么，是改为deals，和后面的并列吗?不懂?想不明白?

从句意上理解，肯定要改PROVING为PROVE，不知道你这题从哪里来的，反正VONVERGE的确讲不通。

这里的determined怎错了? DETERMINED ON肯定不对，应该改成DEPENDENT ON，要不凑合改成DEDTERMINED BY，但意思稍微有点变化。

第一道题中的NEITHER，之所以错是因为正确的应该是NOR，因为NEITHER NOR的连句里，NEITHER只作为上句的修饰词，下句应该选用NOR。
至于为什么第二题选的是B，我想可能是因为GET不能引导宾语从句：)

词组搭配应该是associated with吧.compared with好象就是这么用过去时态的，还有什么compared to也是过去式，很少看见用comparing

2. compare 做主动语态后不可能跟介词,被动语态则必有介词.
我的方法是除了十几个及物动词跟双宾语的外,所有的V_ed除做谓语外都必须紧跟介词.
