Although someone has claimed the effectiveness of culture comprehension in the form of watching local TV programmes, I cannot stand with the idea. First of all, some TV programmes aim at informing the native of innovative things rather than native culture, which they have been familiar with. For example, Korea has led in the production of entertainment programmes, and some countries have adopted the way Korean makes programmes. These programmes, though made domestically, features, in some degree, Korean culture. Furthermore, those TV programmes broadcast internationally have been interpreted into the language people can understand in the local area, which as a result has deprived part of the original culture. Take the American Pie series for example. People having watch it consider American as porny and dissolute as performed in the movies, which is far from the reality.
