In the lecture, the professor presents two ways of information collecting for business marketing. They are the quantity based information collection and opinion based information collection. Firstly, the professor talks about the quantity based information collection. For example, a car manufacturer, looks at the information consume more products, while people with children consume less. Second, the professor mentions the opinion based information collection. For example, the company this time makes a survey to find out the reason why the customers with children consume fewer products is that the children can’t sit comfortably with a lot of goods placed on the back seat of their car.
