Art is the best and most accurate way to convey our emotions. Without art we are just machines. Art should be taught in high school because it enhances the creativity, opens a new door for our kids, and helps them to express what they are. Art is the best tool with which to carve a soul into a masterpiece.
The second reason is that art is a connector. It connects the internal logic of each academic – and other -disciplines with each other, helping us make sense of them. They can illuminate, expand and deepen all other subjects that are taught in school. They convert data to delight.
What’s more, what we really need is a much broader humanistic education for high school students. It is through the study of art, music, literature, history and other humanities and social sciences that we gain a greater understanding of the human condition than biological or physical science alone can provide.
艺术是表达情感的最好、最精确的方式。没有艺术，我们只是机器。艺术应该在高中教，因为它增强了创造力，为我们的孩子打开了一扇新的大门，并帮助他们表达他们的想法。艺术是把灵魂雕刻成杰作的最好工具。
第二个原因是艺术是一个连接器。它把每一门学科和其他学科的内在逻辑联系起来，帮助我们理解它们。它们可以阐明、扩展和深化学校所教的所有其他科目。他们把数据转换成乐趣。
