1. Describe a film you enjoyed a lot (your favorite movie).Explain why you like it. Include reasons and examples to support your response.
My favorite movie is Forrest Gump. First, because there’s a very famous star in the film, Tom. Heis so handsome and skillful. I crazily love him. So, you know,“love him love his dog”, I love the movie. And also I think it’s really a meaningful movie. Two figures in it moved me a lot. One is Forrest’s mother, her words: “life is like a box of chocolates, you’ll never know what you’re gonna get.” because of the words, I began to try my best to be optimistic and always hopeful in my life. The other one is Forrest. In his way of treating his silly friend, I know what a real friend should be. In his running journey, I know how to be perseverant. I learn a lot from the movie.

• 看电影特有的好处：声像(combination of sound and image)结合带来独特的效果;往往浓缩在150分钟之内;优秀演员的演绎(the ability to create empathy)带来不同的理解(interpretation)。
• 有些东西是电影拍不出来的;
• 有些东西是小说写不出来的
所以，哪一个更好，不能一概而论。各有各的好处。
