托福考试口语部分共有6题，总时间约为15分钟。第1题和第2题为独立回答题，准备时间为15秒，回答问题时间为45秒。问题会被朗读出来，同时会出现在屏幕上。第3题和第4题要求考生先阅读一段文字，然后再听一段与阅读文字在内容上相关的听力材料，最后考生按照要求回答相关问题。通常一道题是情景题，另一道是学术题。
Task1
Which would you recommend to build for a university toenhance its students’
living and studying condition?
A. Cafeteria
B. Swimming pool
C. Expand the scale of laboratories on campus.

A:
From where I stand, I think the university should build acafeteria with a lot
features to attract more to come to rest. Firstly,cafeterias on campus are
places for students to rest legs and study most of thetime. Students sit
together in a circle having sandwiches while talking about theassignments and
experiments, in which the atmosphere would be quite harmonious.As a result, a
cafeteria will give students one more place to stay during thebreak of two
classes either on the daytime or at night.
B:
In my own perspective, I would more likely to suggestbuilding several
swimming pools. There are several reasons I would like tomention.
Firstly, The truth is that students nowadays are all underextreme stress and
yearn for ways to distress. Again, swimming pool is a perfect place for
studentsto relax themselves after school or on holidays.
The second reason is that it is always fun to play withfriends at the pool. I
still remember the game between my mates.
C:
In my own opinion, I think it is crucial for a school tostrengthen its
fundamental constructions like laboratories, recreation centersand stadiums.
Also, it is so right to expand the scale of laboratories orupgrade its
facilities. As a result, students can do experiments inappropriately equipped
labs. On the other hand, school will at the same time beup-to-date.
Task 2
Which one of the twopatterns would help people to know each other better,
meeting at the firstsight or through long-term relationship?
Sample response:
I personally thinkpeople will get to know each other better through long-term
relationship.
There are several reasons I would like to mention.
Firstly, it seems impossible for us to know a person at thefirst time. There
are so many uncertainties left to discover. Take personalityfor example, people
would naturally behave themselves or becoming stressed atthe very first time of
meeting.
Secondly, if two individuals cannot build a bond betweenthem, they wouldn’t
give or show the true self to each other. Then they will not understand each
other.
Task3
Reading: 学校要取消东校区的餐厅
1.人很少，学校不能维持餐厅的运行
2学校还没有确定下一步是否继续经营餐厅的下一步计划
Listening: 男生不同意。
1.因为那边有很多实验室和教室，也有很多学生，如果取消了很不方便，比如男生洗澡要坐车再去别的校区吃饭，而且他觉得很多小吃都很好。
2.学校现在没有明确的计划，如果空下来，看上去会很难看，比如说已经有一个空下来的building要建一个音乐馆，但是一年还要放在哪里。
Task4
Reading: 植物学说一些植物在不同时间产生种子来抵御困难的环境。
Listening: 例子是，沙漠中的pepper grass 可以产生很多种子，一部分很快会sprouts, mature.
但是可能会在没有雨的时候dryout.但是他们可以用一部分继续增长。
Task5
男生有一场演出，需要在报纸上登信息，但是他错过了提交的截止日期。
Solution1: 延迟演出，可以登通知来吸引关注，但是预定地点非常难。
Solution2: 可以贴海报来吸引观众。
Task6
教授讲了关于广告学相关的一个术语叫做 product
recognization.说广告为什么这么重要。主要是要一遍一遍的重复，在电视媒体上，这样人们对于他的认知度才会提高。
相对于人们没听过名字的产品，人们会选择熟悉的产品。
