Which one of the following qualities do you think is the most important for a university student: highly-motivated, hard-working or intelligent?
For a university student, the quality of highly intelligent is the most important compare with other qualities. For one thing, intelligence is a sign of an educated person, while highly-motivated or hard-working can be qualities of any kinds of person. For example, a manual labor worker should be hard working but not need to be intelligent. Also, the qualities of highly motivated and hardworking are trainable in the society through working, while intelligence can only be trained through intensive and systematic education. A university student has received more than 20 years education, to be intelligent, is the basic result. And finally, to make academic achievement, intelligence is the most basic requirement.
