Your professor is asking you to help with some research on the weekend, but you have planned to go to you sister’s birthday party. Which would you choose?
Admittedly, my sister’s birthday is an annual celebration with families and sending regards in person is an indication of my sincerity, however, I would help the professor with some research. First of all, it accumulates my experience of doing research. Students are not allowed to conduct experiments on our own and without the tutoring of professor, I may seldom get a chance to do a research. Therefore, this opportunity is extremely important to me. Moreover, I can thus keep a good relationship with the professor. I am selected helping the professor the research for certain reason, and whatever this reason might be, I shall seize the opportunity and maintain the good relationship with the professor, which may help me with the further study or working experience.
