Which following period is the most difficult time in a person’s life? Childhood, teenage years or adulthood? Give your opinion and explain the reasons.
In my opinion, the period of one’s teenage years is much more difficult compared with childhood and adulthood, and the reasons are as followings. First of all, teenagers are under the time period of puberty, which causes emotional fluctuation. It’s very hard to manage their changing moods and strange emotions. For example, one may become depressed without obvious reasons, which hurts others and him or herself. Secondly, as adolescents are between the period of mature and immature, it’s difficult for them to deal with relationships because they may be confused of things around. Finally, during this period, adolescents are under great academic pressure as well as expectations from their parents and teachers.
