托福考试口语部分共有6题，总时间约为15分钟。第1题和第2题为独立回答题，准备时间为15秒，回答问题时间为45秒。问题会被朗读出来，同时会出现在屏幕上。第3题和第4题要求考生先阅读一段文字，然后再听一段与阅读文字在内容上相关的听力材料，最后考生按照要求回答相关问题。通常一道题是情景题，另一道是学术题，阅读材料只含一个自然段，共45秒钟的阅读时间。听力材料可能是对话，也可能是演讲，其长度大约为1分半钟，考生可以在听录音的过程中做笔记来帮助答题。考生有30秒的准备时间，60秒的回答问题时间。第5题和第6题以考试中的听力材料为基础，要求考生回答相关问题。考生有20秒的准备时间，60秒的时间回答问题。每个回答的得分是0至4分。

I would like to choose how to repair cars for the following reasons. First, I think being able to identify and fix car problems is very important. Today’s cars are pretty complicated. There are so many indicators and switches on the dashboard that I’m not familiar with. Taking a course like this will give me a better understanding of cars and make me a better driver. Second, skills like changing tires is handy. I had a flat tire a few month ago while visiting my friends. I had no idea what to do and waited for the tow truck for an hour by the road and missed the party at the end.
Task 2: do you agree or disagree the following statement and give reasons: Parents should not allow their children to participate any form of sport (football, basketball, ice hockey...) in order to protect their health and from any form of injuries.
Sample
I disagree with the statement that parents should discourage their children to do sports to avoid injuries. First, the benefit of kids doing sports is far greater than the risk. For example, doing sports and competing with others make kids feel good about themselves. They will have more energy after excising and get a sense of achievement. Second, small injure is not a big deal at all. Very few of of my friend fall behind class because they got injured during games. Not letting them play seems a little extreme to me.
