学生原文:
Countries without their own distinguishing marks can hardly put their people together, can hardly being respected among all the others. Traditions, as the marks of the countries, are of great importance to many individuals. Argument over whether the guidance of the traditions outweigh the freedom the young adults enjoys, or vice versa is under heated debate. I’d say each party has its own points.
Known to all, that traditions are the unique feature with which people are born, and one is taken into account to carry them on to the following generations. One would be charged of being guilty if they failed the mission. Beyond that, some of the traditions are important components of the history, which can facilitate people in knowing their past better. And thus, further enhance their nation pride. Moreover, most of the traditions are extremely fascinating. They contribute a lot in arousing public’s interest in getting to know more about the particular charming places, nation wide and world wide.
However, traditions are not all nothing but treasures. Quite a lot of traditions, in the rural areas especially, have to be referred as superstitions. Parents are to be painted ugly on their faces, and the new married are to be embarrassed in the wedding. Not only limited to that, young generation’s creativity is stifled as well. They are to be considered harmful in the group if they failed to follow their ‘intelligent’ older generations and that would only make them a copy of their parents. Aside that, some of the traditions are in the conflict with the up-to-date practice, and which can give the young individuals a hard time when they are entering the global society.
All in all, traditions are something that are treasurable, that deserve our attention and time to preserve. However, that doesn’t mean people are supposed to take them all in indiscriminately. What to filter is individuals own choice.

Countries without their own distinguishing marks can hardly put their people together, can hardly being respected (句式不规范,可以用and连接)among all the others. Traditions, as the marks of the countries, are of great importance to many individuals. Argument over whether the guidance of the traditions outweigh the freedom the young adults enjoys, (enjoy)or vice versa is under heated debate. I’d (不要用缩写)say each party has its own points.
They contribute a lot in arousing public’s interest in getting to know more about the particular charming places, nation wide and world wide.(这一段你提到了历史的几个好处,但是之间的联系性不太强,阐述得不够深入,所以建议确定一个中心句再围绕这个中心句去写)

All in all, traditions are something (something一般指单数,所以和traditions不太搭配,可以换成The ones))that are treasurable, that deserve our attention and time to preserve. However, that doesn’t mean people are supposed to take them all in indiscriminately. What to filter is individuals own choice最后一段总结得不错,继续保持)
