在托福听力考试过程中，记录关键词的能力直接影响到对文章关键信息的抓取和答题的准确性，这个关键词记录和提取的系列不仅是针对听力过程中记录关键词的讲解，还有对题干和选项中的关键词的提取以及如何将这些关键词一一对应的讲解。那么在第一部分我们着重先讨论一下关键词的根本就是如何在听力过程中如何抓住关键词。
笔记的记录我们可以分为两点来看，第一是通过框架去记录关键词。第二是通过细节去抓关键词。
首先，为什么我们要通过框架去记录关键词?其实托福听力尤其是TPO做的比较多，不难发现教授讲课的思路与我们写托福作文的时候是一样的，都是会有Topic sentence，然后用例子去解释说明之前的Topic sentence。因为这也是西方人的逻辑，喜欢先说论点，然后用例子去做有依据地形象地分析说明。那么我们透过框架就可以知道我们需要记录哪些内容，开头通常情况下教授会交待这节课的主要讨论内容，阐述部分通常由论点和对应的例子也就是论据组成，结论部分通常会表达观点立场和结论。所以透过框架需要我们去记录相关的这些内容。开头部分我们可以以TPO23的第三篇lecture讲海洋生物的内容为例。

我们通过对开头部分经常出现主旨题的规律将以下这些关键词记录下来，然后同样在做题过程中将题目的关键词也抽出来，然后去看与听力内容中的关键词是否有一一对应，如果有，这样的选项就是我们要找的正确选项。例如：

u Parts of the dolphin’s anatomy that allow it to navigate.
u Two different types of communication used by dolphins.
u The way that dolphins store air while swimming underwater.
u The meanings of different signals used by dolphins.
很显然，A选项anatomy对应的是记录的关键词blowhole与air-filled nasal sacs，navigate与记录的关键动词navigate或者有的学生记录find their way相对应，A选项的关键词与笔记中的关键词就是一一对应的，所以A是正确选项。而且关键词的标注也有利于我们排除错误选项，例如B选项不用多看，通过communication这个关键词就可以将B选项排除。以此类推CD选项也是可以通过这样一个关键词的抽取很快将其排除不会浪费太多时间。
阐述部分我们可以以典型的TPO17中第四个lecture讲octopus的内容为例。
论点：Incredible transformation in three ways: color, texture, size and shape
分论点1：Color：two kinds of cell –on skin surface Chromatophores
-below the Chromatophores: cells reflect light
分论点2：Texture: projection called papillae
分论点3：Size&Shape: muscular system, round stone, leaves

很显然，通过我们对论点及论点所对应的例子的记录，可以很容易将这三道题做出来，而且通过对题目和选项的关键词的抓取也很容易将这三点及论据挑出来。
所以，如果我们能够很好的在笔记过程中记录关键词，并且在做题过程中注意选项中的关键词和笔记所记录的关键词的一一对应，可以达到事半功倍的效果，快速并且准确地将题目做出来。当然前提条件就是我们需要提高我们的听力能力，这样才能够在听力过程中很好地抓住关键词并将其记录下来。
