As far as I am concerned, a student who is studying in the city outside my hometown, there are many advantages of this doing. First of all, new environment provides me a chance to meet with new people and enlarge social network. I finished my middle school in my hometown, and all the friends I’ve got there are those from the same place. Now, I am studying in an international school, the students of which are from all over the world. And it is these people who have broaden my horizon and helped me made up my mind to study overseas in the near future. Moreover, studying alone in the new city helps cultivate special qualities, such as independence. When living at home, my mother helped me with all the house chores, such as laundry and house cleaning. But now, I have to rely on myself for all the daily housework and I think that is a good preparation for my future study overseas.
