If you can have a part-time job at the university, what position would you choose? A lab assistant, a campus tour guide, or a library assistant? Please give specific reasons.
As a student major in science, I would like to take a part-time job as a lab assistant. There are some reasons for my choice. Firstly, it is a rare opportunity to handle those exquisite equipment which is usually locked in the closet. All the science students are aware that the instrument for experiment is fetched by TA right before the science class and students have got little chance to even touch the equipment. So as an assistant in the lad, I can have the priority to be familiar with the equipment, which is definitely a plus in my further study in this area. Moreover, I can find more chance to carry out my own experiment under the permit of professor. As an assistant, I have more time staying with the professor and as long as the professor permits, I can occasionally carry out some experiments at will.
