I absolutely favor the universities or colleges in my own city. First of all, it would be easier for me to get advice from my family members and friends. You know, for a student, especially a freshman, it is not uncommon that the student will confront various kinds of problems, no matter for the life or study. If I study in the university far away from my hometown, I tend to feel sad if I get involved with troublesome issues and no one else can help me. Furthermore, it would be easier for me to find a job. Shanghai, as one of the biggest cities in China, can offer far more job opportunities than other cities do. So, studying in other cities would cause lots of problems. For instance, I would have to spend more time on commuting on the way between two cities.
