For me, an experienced teacher is much better than a new one, and I believe many others would have the same preference. The first reason is that a teacher who is more experienced can teach me a lot of things beyond the textbooks, because the teacher can summarize the experiences of previous students and teach us to avoid. Secondly, I am an eager learner and I have an endless number of questions to which only an experienced teacher can provide answers, while new teachers may not understand some questions yet. Thirdly, an experienced instructor can give me inspirations and probably become my mentor in many other aspects of life.
