Do you agree or disagree? The most important influence that young adults have are from their families.
According to my personal experience, I don’t think turning to families for advice is a good idea. First off, there are some secrets we can only share with friends, and friends thus understand us better than families. For example, since my teacher decided to choose a cantor between Amy and me for the annual campus music concert, I’ve shared my feelings with my best friend Lucy, and even sometimes I want to seek advice from my father, I hate to retell the whole story form the very beginning. Furthermore, families, sometimes, care about us too much and cannot judge on a logical and rational base. For example, my mother always think I’m the best in maths, but the truth is, Vivian, another smart girl in class does. But no matter how many times I’ve told my mother so, she still believes her little girl is the best.
