Some people make decisions depending on themselves, while others tend to refer to others for advice. Which do you prefer and why?
Whenever I have to make decisions that are vital to my life, I prefer to rely on others for the ultimate decision. There are two reasons for my doing. First of all, others opinions provide me more angles to consider. For example, last time when I was deciding major in university application, I was only focus on my interest, but my parents also reminded me of employment status after graduation. This was an aspect I neglected, but quite important. Moreover, I am less stressful making important decisions when others’ ideas are taken into consideration. Although I am still the one to be responsible for the consequences of the decision, when all the ideas are carefully considered, the decision seems a safe one.
